    Wireless network not in range

    Hello,

My network card (Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g) doesn't detect my wireless network under Windows 7, but it does under Ubuntu. While I don't see the network under Windows 7, I do see a list of other networks near me. Funny thing: it doesn't appear to be a problem of the card itself (because Ubuntu sees the network), nor a router (again, Ubuntu doesn't have problems with it), nor... Windows 7 (because it does see other networks). Can anyone suggest what can cause it? (Laptop is next to the router, so distance isn't any issue.)

    Best

I'd look for an updated driver. If you let Windows find and install it, visit the manufacturer and install the drivers manually.
