    help with new laptop

hey guys i just got for christmas a new Acer Timeline X laptop
opening it a amazing laptop but i cannot connect to my house network but other networks i can connect to.
so i cannot connect to my main wireless network which is provided by bell(Canada)

i called bell and we went through all this troubleshooting and then she said that it had to do with the laptop and not the router or internet.I then called Acer and then they are saying that i have to take it to a local store.

so should i return the laptop or is there a way to fix this?

Agree about taking it back but there is the possibility that your wireless switch is off or your wireless adapter is powered off. check the settings in your control panel for devices. Also, you might want to look at the software that comes with the computer for wireless adapter software. Also (lots of also's)
as a last resort RTFM and see if you have to open your network access to the wireless.
As always, your av could be stopping you, What anti-virus is installed?
What is the model number of your new laptop?

Then call your ISP company and as for tech support. They will guide you in the right direction!
