Windows 7: Network access unavailable

Win 7 Pro 32bit

Unfortunately, this only returned an error is writing the initial file. At this point I can only see a reinstall as the answer...wish there was another way...

I recently installed a small network-accessible-storage drive - a WD MyBookLive. When Windows starts up it seems to take a long time to connect to the drive, and I get an alert saying the drive is unavailable. (I don't remember the wording.) This is fine since the device eventually comes online....

I have a brand new acer aspire notebook and I'm trying to connect to my airport extreme card built into my iMac desktop. The laptop sees the signal just fine, but it will not connect to the internet and I get "limited access". What can I do to connect?
