    Sending HD movie to PS3

Hi, I've been trying multiple method for this but nothing.

I'm trying to copy a HD movie which is around 8GB in size over to my PS3, what would be the best and most efficient way to do this?

    USB stick all the way!

    or

you can do this by using the media sever option, go into internet setting on your ps3 and turn this on, once this is done go on the video menu and click on media sever, you should find your computer and then copy it directly to the ps3.

I've tried PS3 Media Server and its great but streaming the HD movie is laggy, so when I copy it instead its pretty slow any way to make it faster? by tweaking the media server settings at all?

    Thanks

no, transferring 8gig over any kind of home network will be horrible... I suggest using a USB flash drive (obviously over 8gig)

So when you attempt to copy the HD movie to the external is says it doesn't have enough space available?
Is there 'anything' on the drive?

Can you move a smaller movie to that drive, then to the ps3?

curious to see if it's just the 1 particular movie that it doesn't like.
