Local area connection missing

    Local area connection missing


    Hi about a week ago i was useing my computer as a moderm for my xbox 360 it was working perfectually until the other dam i think i may have deleted something in network shareing, i have googled the problem and tried every thing that every site has told me but it still wont show up i have posted screen shots of my network and shareings.http://i51.tinypic.com/ipd44g.jpg http://i53.tinypic.com/70ykp5.png as u can see in them there is no local area connection. i have also tired reinstalling the drivers.

    I had a similar problem some time ago.. I uninstalled the device, and since the NIC was on my mobo I disabled it in the bios and rebooted. The device was thus removed from device manager. I then re-enabled it in the BIOS and boot the PC again, it then detected it and installed the M$ drivers, which I then replaced with drivers supplied with the mobo.

    This worked for me... Perhaps you might have similar good luck?
