Win 7 Laptop Wired Connects - Wireless Doesnt

I'm having a bit of a strange problem with a laptop running Win 7 RC3 32bit. The wireless G connection works just fine for almost all things, but it won't connect with a server on our LAN. The connection times out. We've tried http, ssh, and ftp.

The weird part is the laptop connects to the server just fine when connected to the LAN with a cable. And other wireless devices connect to the server just fine through the same AP.

The laptop connects to anything WAN wirelessly with no problem.

    Any ideas?

Perhaps the mac address of the wireless adapter is blocked in the server on your LAN? Try changing the mac to anything different, as a test, even if it isn't blocked.

Is this with static ip or using dhcp?

Afew things may be going on.

If a static ip is involved perhaps another device has grabbed that ip causing a conflict?

In some rare cases this can happen with a Dynamic ip but not likly.

You may need some updated Wireless card drivers, or could try disabling the wireless card, restarting your laptop, and then once it is booted up, you can enable it. This worked for my issue I was having with my desktop pc on wireless.
