Windows 7: Windows 7 network logon failure

Windows 7 network logon failure

I have a desktop and a laptop using W7 64-bit plus a laptop using W7 32-bit. The two 64-bit computers can share folders and files easily. Even though I set the persmissions in the same fashion on the 32-bit, when I try to logon to the 32-bit with either of the 64-bit PCs, I get the following:

"Laptop is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission.

Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer."

The premissions work between the 64-bit machines fine. Am I missing something?

I am using a work group, not the homegroup. I am assuming it is the same as the setup I had with Vista and XP (no problems there).

Is there no answer to this?

I do not see "local security" listed under Administrative Tools. What the heck am I missing?
