Unable to connect to network devices with Windows7
Hi Guys,
I am unable to connect to my network devices since I upgrade to Windows7 Pro with a new laptop. I am using a peer to peer connection, meaning just my laptop and the device with a static IP address set on my laptop (192.168.2.40) and a static ip address set on the device (192.168.2.47). I am using a CAT5 network cable to connect to the device (I have tried both straight and cross cable - both failed).
My local area network adaptor will show unidentified network, under properties -> status, it states No Network Access. There is no issue to connect to the internet. Just that my job requires me to often do a peer to peer connection with the device.
I didnt have this problem with windows xp.
Anyone can help? Thanks.
