    If it is an external model the MAC is normally printed on a sticker attached to the modem.

    Your ip4v MAC (sometimes called Physical address) will be 6 sets of double digits/letters. For example: 00:18:C2:65:0A:43

    Trying the old modem couldn't hurt...
