you can try right clicking on the network icon (the windows one) and troubleshoot it. Also can try turning off all network appliances (and unplugging them) for 10 seconds and then reconnect, and troubleshoot again. A computer restart can help. If all of this doesn't work, the problem is more serious

Wait, Re-reading kinda confused me. You have wifi and your laptop is connected, and you want you pc to connect to your laptop or to the wifi also? Or is it that you want to see your pc from your laptop? So you are telling me your wifi works, but the pc isn't connecting?

Make sure all important updates are downloaded and go to the manufacturer of your network card (or computer if it is made by a major company like dell), and make sure all driver downloads are up to date for your card. Go into device manager and if you see any exclamation points, than you need to update those as well.

What stated this problem going? Have you tried a system restore?

Did you do any of this? and no services were disabled, or programs installed that might affect this? Do tell what you did to start this. try a sfc /scannow in elevated cmd prompt and also a system repair install.

You have entered the password correctly to connect? It is set to connect to your wifi at home?

i suggest open your modem/routers settings page usually by typing http://192.168.1.1 (depends upon your modem model and manufacturer) login there typing username and password and look for wireless settings there.Make sure you are typing the correct WEP key to log in to your modem and your wireless option is turned on.Save and reboot modem and try to connect to internet.
