Sharing drive in workgroup
I recently built a new computer. Here are the specs.
Motherboard - Intel DP55KG
CPU - Intel Core i7 K 875 @ 2.93Ghz
Memory - 8 Gb (3.49 Gb in XP)
Video - NVidia GeForce 210 (512)
Dual-boot Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, XP Pro SP3
My first hard drive is a 1Tb drive partitioned into 5 partitions (C, D, E, F, G). I also have two other terabyte drives which are H and I.
I have drive C (and all the other drives) set to share in my network (workgroup). You can view my settings at http://mewnlite.com/sharing.jpg
Windows 7 is installed on Drive C and Windows XP on Drive D
Two of my other computers on the network are set up *exactly* the same way. (Windows 7, Windows XP, 5 partitons on 1st drive, two other drives)
I also have sharing set up in Windows XP to share ALL the drives. However no matter which OS I'm running on the new machine, neither of my other machines can read drive C on the new machine. "C is not accessible." But the new machine can read drive C on both of the other machines which are set up exactly the same way.
I really need to get this resolved since I have my other two set up to sync automatically at 3 AM every morning and I want to get this new machine included in that.
Any help will be appreciated!
