Networking between Windows 7 and Windows XP.

I wonder if there is a way of file transfering from a PC that has Windows 7 to a PC that has Windows XP.

I can't seem to get them to "see" eachother.

I can "see" my XP PC on the Windows 7 one but not vice versa.

    /edit

Solved! do i get rep for solving it myself?
    Sorry for the wasted Topic.

Try pinging your Windows 7 PC from your Windows XP PC:

Click Start > Run > Type "cmd" > Open up the command prompt and type ping and then your Windows 7 PC's local IP Address (ex.192.168.1.25)

If it does find your Windows 7 PC then try this:

Click Start > Run > and type your Windows 7 PC's name in front of two \\ for example if my Windows 7 PC was called Fred-PC, i would type \\Fred-PC.

It should ask you for your account username and password.

    Thats it..

If you have any more trouble just post and im sure some of the Network guys will be able to help you further.
