Uninstalled Avast and rebooted. No change. But it was a good excuse to install the new Avast 6 beta!

Thats the funny part. I've always used OpenDNS. I've tried changing back to Comcasts DNS servers and I've tried Comodo's DNS servers. Nothing seems to help except if I proxy through TOR.

Avast. Wierd thing is its the same on my laptop, but it connects fine.
Most likely they block Pings to avoid falling victim to DOS attacks

Try the following for me: put in the browsers URL

The World's Most Advanced Business Jet Aircraft - Gulfstream
see if that works.
Maybe theres a bug in your DNS processing.

I tried both their primary and secondary URL's as gleaned from a WHOIS lookup. I get the same results. Its strange that my laptop gets there fine but not my desktop. But from this thread, it looks like there are a few others that can't view the site either. Not sure I have the patience to figure this one out!

I know how to make a general alert in google alerts, but is there a way to make a site specific alert. Like, if for example, starts selling a "Jordan" shoe. Is there a way to get an alert when only that site has a specific word come up on their site? If so, how? Thank
