IE8 accelerators

    IE8 accelerators


    Does any one know if this feature is only in IE8? I swear there is something similar in IE7 Vista.

    I don't believe so, I think it came about for IE8.

    Thanks guys! I guess what im seeing in IE7 is some tag or addon... take a look at the screen shot below. This is from IE7

    Hi Surfer.
    You are correct. It was in earlier editions. The link given by AirBot, refers to them as far back as IE6. They have also been available as third party addons. IE8 has made it easier to add them in and rebadged them. They certainly run with more ease than the previous addons.

    Yea i did notice there is quite the extensive library for accelerators in Win7. Its also very easy to add them. I like the feature alot it really makes web browings and searching much easier. Thanks GUys!
