    Wireless Constantly Identifying Network

    Hi,

I have a laptop in our office that is about 4 months old and is constantly identifying the wireless network. I have tried everything! I even have just re formatted it and re installed everything from scratch but I still have the same problem.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Hi,

Many of these issues are caused by drivers, this frequently happened on my IBM T42, it identifies a network, connects and then disconnects. Give details on the laptop or at least the laptop brand and model.

    Thanks for your quick reply!

It is a Dell Vostro 3500.

What other details would you like?

    Thanks,

I meant more on the lines like wireless model but that was the minimum I asked for.

Does the problem occur anyplace else or only at work? If it happens all the time then it's only 4 months old?, take it back and make them fix it or replace it.
