    Network Setup

I am setting up my samsung tv to connect to the lan connection which is wired from tv to router.
To setup the network I need:
    IP Address
    Subnet Mask Gateway
    and DNS Server

I would like to know where to go on PC to get these?

    Thanks

    Hello jack,

Run your command prompt, and type in: ipconfig /all. That should do it. Let me know if it don't.

    Thanks,

Did you type it in exactly like this: "ipconfig /all"(without the quotes)?

If so then please post a screenshot of what it is showing.

Easy tip/trick for future is to hold thw windows/start key and pres r for run to come up. all you do then is write in cmd. when the black box opens up write in exactly as the user above me wrote "ipconfig /all" make sure to not use quotation marks and leave a space between ipconfig /all.

With reference to my first post:

I am setting up my samsung tv to connect to the lan connection which is wired from tv to router.
To setup the network I need:
    IP Address
    Subnet Mask Gateway
    and DNS Server

I would like to know which address to enter from this lot, also I presume my Physical Address is my IP Address?
Also it asks for a Static Address would this be static

    Thanks
