    Remote desktop copy/paste issue

Hi guys. I'm having an issue with my remote desktop and the clipboard. I remote desktop from my laptop to my desktop about half the day, and within the last couple months my clipboard functionality has broke. The clipboard will stop syncing, and when I stop/start rdpclip on the desktop, it fixes it sometimes, but sometimes it doesn't and I have to disconnect/reconnect from remote desktop. I recently reinstalled the desktop from win xp to win 7 (and changed ip), and the issue is still happening, so I thought it must be something on my laptop.
Does anyone know what would cause this?

    Hello,

Is this the process that you have used?
From Task Manager, kill the rdpclip.exe process and Run rdpclip.exe to restart it.

Sorry, if it took me forever to respond. See if creating a new bat file helps.

Same problem - even in Safe MOde

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I'm having this problem even in safe mode. Copy/paste works fine in all but Remote Desktop. I have tried all solutions found on the net including the rdpclip.exe suggestion.

I am connecting from W7 Ultimate x64 to WinSvr 2003 Std. Copy/paste will not work in either direction.

I have three other machines with W7 Pro x64 and they have no problem.

    Any ideas?

You can run the following commands on your remote machine one by one.

    Taskkill.exe /im rdpclip.exe
    Rdpclip.exe

This is a temporary fix, alternately you can use an online copy paste tool, its great.
