    A Question

    Hi

How can we do this :
Suppose, I have an application installed (for ex: Microsoft Office 2010 ) on my server (MWS 2008 r2 ) in US. I travel to Europe.
How can I use it via web browser ?

    Thank you

Install TeamViewer or GoToMyPC or TightVNC (Server and Client). All allow you to connect remotely to control the target computer.

First of all, Thank you Ztruker

But I`m looking for a way that we do not need install any server-client software... just access to applications by connecting to Server ( input password and... ) via Internet browsers

    Is it possible ?

You could use Remote Desktop which is part of Windows. I found it somewhat difficult to set up on my XP box -valid user account to log into, special setup in router security and port forwarding etc. I did get it working but as I said it was tricky. I now use Teamviewer. Much simpler and seems faster as well. Just my two cents.

I don't know if you can set up remote desktop so you can access it remotely without someone being available at the target computer.

Why are you against installing an application that makes this easy, like TeamViewer?

Are you saying you will not have your own computer, that you want to do this from a computer provided by a coffee shop or hotel? If so, then no, I don't know of any way you can do this.

Maybe using a USB flash drive and some portable app. Google says there is a portable version of TightVNC but the links all appear to be invalid. If you can find it, that would be a solution if the computers you will be using allow connection of a flash drive.

If so, then you install TightVNC server on your computer and run the portable client from the flash drive.

I just found this: TightVNC – Portable VNC Viewer

The full version, including the server you need for your computer is available here: Download TightVNC 2.0.2 - FileHippo.com

Edit: Seems Malware Bytes Anti Malware is blocking access to TightVNC: VNC-Compatible Free Remote Control / Remote Desktop Software URLs for some reason. That was preventing me from going directly to the TightVNC download sites, which is why I posted the above links.
