    Certificate problems at hotmail.com

    Hi,

I got a major problem and it is really pissing me off!
I´d just got my Acer laptop back after 3 months of reparing.. like that wasn´t enough... anyway, now i have found a problem and really dont wanna send it back again so i hope some of you could help me out :)

The whole thing is that when im going to the url : Hotmail.com with IE7 to check my email i get this message (translated from swedish) : Certificate issues! the site you´re trying to enter has an expired certificate.
Now i dont think it´s windows certificate that have expired so it had to be something else but Google Chrome says the same thing and Firefox doesnt even show the site.... I thought it was windows firewall but when shut it down it didnt work either and when i shut down my antivirus system (Avast, the free version) it didnt work... now im out of ideas :/ please help me

On your computer. Does the clock in the notification area of the taskbar show the correct time and date for your locale? The reason for this is that certificates have an expiry time and date and if the date on your computer is incorrect it can make it look as though the certificate has expired when in reality it hasn't. Of course, there is a distinct possibility that it has actually expired, and Hotmail aren't aware of it (unlikely, but still possible).
