    Help!! Took the wrong path

Well,in an effort to invoke advanced sharing for my x86 Program Files,it seems I have somehow corrupted the path. When I choose Properties > Sharing tab,the Network path is now \\Bev-PC\everyone,where I believe it should be \\Bev-PC\Program Files(x86).My intent was to share this folder with "everyone" on the LAN,but I am throughly confused with the advanced sharing options and all of the subsequent windows opening and asking for additional group names and so forth. Can someone please help me rectify this problem and then "hand hold" me through advanced sharing please? God,this was so simple in XP!!

Just change the name of the share. It looks like when you were trying to give everyone permission, just mistakenly named the share "everyone".

Thanks-Can you walk me through that please? I'm really "gun-shy" now and don't want to wreck the Wife's comp any further!

Right click on the folder name, select properties, go to the sharing tab, click on advanced sharing, and change the share name.

Unless there's some earth shattering reason to share the program files directory, I'd stay away from it.
