local area connection unidentified network no internet access Xbox

    ok so i tried it with the computer first and it does not let me connect to the internet with the different ip address. it just says it does not allow me to register and i may need to change network settings....then i changed it back to automatic and it connected me so now what.

    That wouldn't have shut your internet down unless you changed the IP's to your cricket wireless....

    The adapter that you have your xbox connected to is the one that you should change....

    Okay,

    try this... right click on Cricket's adapter , click on properties ==> sharing tab == > make sure on the internet connectiong sharing tab that the adapter you will use to plug your xbox in is selected.

    ok thank you for the info but some how i was able to share the connection with local area connection 1...which let me connect to the network on the xbox but i had to manually input the DNS

    hi there

    been reading alot on a subject that i just cant seem to figure out im trying to hook my PS3 up with my laptop so i can have internet on the PS the catch is im using a 3G dongle. i tried the above mentioned steps but still can seem to get it to work

    the problems im faced with is a unidentified network on my local area connection i have tried almost everything on this subject and im almost sure its because of the unidentified network any well with this wl save me alot of heartace as i am wasting alot of time not getting anyware here's my '' ipconfig /all '' spec's
