Just curious... why do you have your setup like that?

I have a DSL modem as well that works as a Server/Bridge. I keep it on Server.

How I have my settings and it works:

    DSL:
    (LAN Config)
    IP: 192.168.1.1
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0

    Linksys Router:
    (WAN Config)
    IP: 192.168.1.2
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.1.1

DNS: Comes from your DSL status page.

    Router:
    (LAN)
    IP: 192.168.2.1
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0

I have my settings as this:

DSL Modem ==> connected to ===> WAN port of Router ===> LAN 1 Port of Router ===> goes into main switch.

That way I don't have clients for computers and not a dedicated server for a computer where you need to keep your computer on for the network to be connected at all times.

    So when I type:

Http://192.168.1.1 ==> access the WebUI for the DSL Modem
http://192.168.2.1 ===> access the WEBUI for linksys

All your client computers coming off the Linksys will have Dynamic IPs as:

    192.168.2.2 - 192.168.2.254

i am using it like that to link the 100mb network with the 1gb network so that they keep their respective speeds and do not slow to 100mb
