    Uploading dropping connection


    So I have this problem which appeared out of nothing. When I try to upload a file, any file with any browser (chrome, firefox, ie) at whatever site etc. plus attachments at emails, my connection drops.

    The funny thing is I am connected to router with cable and all other devices have no problem so it is between my pc and router.

    I tried switching cables, disabling dhcp and manually address it, disabling IPv6, scanned for a virus with 2 AVs but still nothing.

    Details:
    Netgear modem-router DG834Gv4
    Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Controller v2.4.7.29 (onboard ASUS mb)

    Please someone help I deal with lots of emails with photo attachments and it is very frustrating.

    After searching a bit more in this forum found that the solution in thread
    Problems with atheros L1 ethernet adapter in Win7 x64
    worked for me too. That is turning the offload option at adapter settings at off instead of on and now it works ok.

    Furthermore, I would like to say this is a very handy forum and as a new member congratulate and hope to contribute to this community.
