dd-wrt seem to let the website (that are in black list of my dd-wrt (facebook.com)) pass through when the website visited is in https instead of blocking it.

i did want a software that can communicate directly to the Microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter not through bridge like vmware (pfsense virtual router).

Pfsense is a virtual router enable your computer to act as router.
pfSense Open Source Firewall Distribution - Home

pfsense inside vmware work properly with my computer Realtek LAN port by bridging, people plug in LAN cable into my LAN port on my computer can get local ip address and then online instantly through my vmare based virtual router with webfiltering and bandwidth limit. But when people connect to my Windows 7 Hosted Wifi, they can get local ip address from the vmware based virtual router, all setting on virtual router and the computer is correct but cannot online, but when they configure to connect to the internet through my pfsense proxy, they can get online.

i want people who connect to my windows 7 virtual wifi dont need to change any proxy setting on their computer but they get their bandwidth control and cannot access to certain website.

opendns is the best solution in this case, pfsense is a bit complicated. You will have to run your pc 24hours.

On the other hand Opendns offer excellent filtering and your dd-wrt replace your pfsense pc.

my pfsense router is in vmware (virtual). when pfsense bridged to my lan port on my computer it work normally, people who connect to my lan port can access internet immediately but not when i bridged my pfsense with my virtual wifi adapter, people when ip but got no access to the internet. Tried dd-wrt with opendns no changed.

Connect to your dd-wrt directly without the pfsense.

Also look at your gateway setting in pfsense.
