Can't ping localhost over IPv4 only IPv6

    strangly, I bet if you ping london -4 it will give you your IP address.

    it gives me
    Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Peer-Peer -----------------------this is my pc
    IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No
    WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No
    DNS Suffix Search List. . . . . . : nsn-intra.net

    your ipconfig shows Node type : HYBRID ----- maybe that could be reason

Hi All I would like to know, since IPv6 has recently been started to roll out worldwide in the attempt to eventually replace IPv4, would it be advisable to change my Adapter settings to use IPv6 instead of IPv4? Or are there still to many devices and servers on the web that only rely on IPv4...

ping localhost wrong ip

hello, when i ping "localhost" comes a ip like this "::1:".. but i want 127.0.0.1 for coding in xampp. i have disable the ipv6 in the connection settings but localhost says still "::1:". ps: sry for bad english, im form germany. ;)
