It won't make your internet connection faster. It won't make anything faster. Windows 7 will only have one active connection per network and only one will be used for internet access.

Coincidentally I was just setting up and registering a mifi 2200
mifi2200

Using my desktop computer, which already has ethernet connection to broadband router.

Mifi connects to computer either wireless or with USB.

Both network connections show in task manager as active and at least in some circumstances show simultaneous activity. e.g. With something downloading on the wired connection, if I connect the mifi using the application that comes with it (which then opens a browser window), and start browsing, then traffic displays on both connections at the same time.

But I don't know if you can directly manage it. It does look like you could manipulate it to do two large downloads at the same time. That would be the only value to me (not a gamer) since both connections will run >2mbps.
