    Small login problem

    Hi!

    I have a small problem:

I have set up my computer with a password to get my mediaplayer to be able to access it sinceit can't work without a password, THEN i have set up my uTorrent to start with windows. But when using a password it stops at the passwordpromt...
And i have configured the BIOS to start my computer at 07.00 in the morning by it self.

I tried to make another account just for my stand alone MediaPlayer, but then the computer stops at the accountscreen. :)

How can i have both to work?

normally since Utorrent is mentioned i would refuse to help but im feeling generou today. go to utorrents website, find the "webUI" kit. install that. Make a new user account that is an admin, and set up task scheduler to boot utorrent under that login at boot. at that point you can use Utorrents webui to manage ur utorrent without having to change user accounts. In regards to the requiring a username and password for media player im not aware of that but you can use control userpasswords2 to enable autologin.

If you need a more broken down version of that let me know :)... Im about to hit the rack so it may be several hours before I get back to you though.

    Hi!

I'm glad you felt generous today! :)
I have a problem when starting the sceduler it says something like (direct translation from Swedish U.I)

The service Sceduler is not available, the snapin module Sceduler will try to reconnect to it.

Why is that and how can i fix it?

I have tried to make a new sceduled task where i run the utorrent.exe file and telling it to run even if i'm not logen in. But when i log in manually to my computer i can't realy SEE the uttorent but when i start it i can see that it has already connected and are up and running, so i tried to add a switch in the sceduler /MINIMIZED But nothng improved with it.... :) Is it possible to be able to SEE the utorrent's U.I when i log in to my computer or does it just run in the backround?

    Once again, thanks!!!

I can't find HOW to PM someone :)

It seems like i'm not allowed....

    I get:

ToddeSwe, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. The page has been removed.
    2. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    3. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Just want to share how I solved this problem:

Turned the password share option to off in Windows and removed my password from login. :)
