why i cant connect to wireless network . plz help

Hello everyone this is my first post on this forum.
I can see the wireless connection on the laptop but it won’t connect.
this networks no needed user name and pass to connect.
my laptop is vostro 1015
os: windows 7 ultimate.

Is this your own wireless network or is it a neighbor's? Do you have another computer that can connect to it?

If its a neighbors its possible that they have mac authentication enabled so then random people can't connect.

all of my frinds can connect to wireless network .
