Remote Logoff Users?

    Works for me on different Vlans with no problems at all.

    I get this error when trying to run it....

    Error: the remote server machine does nit exist or is unavailable: 'GetObject'
    Code: 800A01CE
    Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error

    Maybe you entered a wrong PCname or IP address?

    I get the same error no matter what IP address or computer name I put in.

    I'm running it from a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit service pack 1 pc to XP Pro service pack 2 pcs.

    Is there something that might be blocking it, something on the network or destination pc? Are there permissions I need to check?

    getting error message:

    can't run the script as admin, could be why?

    It was because of admin.

    I ran it via a command prompt window (that I ran as admin)

    It works perfectly! Thank you very very much!

    I am left with the same situation as the9thwonder, and asking the same questions in order to try to get this working. And, like 9th I am sure of the IP addresses and machine names. I am trying this on my local LAN, though I would ultimately like to implement this on my VLAN.

    Anyone ever found the answer on this old thread?
