Why would you want to use both?
Your LAN connect will be faster then Wireless, so your doing nothing but making your machine work harder for the same information. Since the LAN has to slow down to the wireless speed to check the downloads completed amount before it continues with the next part.

there is no point utilizing both connections as its oready been stated it will make your router and computer do more work... for no point seeing as your getting the same speed both ways... my suggestion is to use one without confusing things

I believe Windows 7 always tries to use the faster connection. What he wants to do is called load balancing, I have only known the Server line of windows can do this not any type of the standard home line.

yes i think 7 always uses the faster connection. then again it would be dumb for microsoft not to put a feature like that in wouldnt it? haha and yes i only think the server os can carry out load balancing not to sure though and doesnt seem to be that much of a problem trying to use 2 connections for a little more bandwidth.. sounds like to much hassle
