    And I think I should revise what I said earlier. You do not need only windows 7 professional to run a server. If you are doing the server through windows 7, you need at least windows professional, but yes, you can get a server specific OS, etc. XP and windows 7 home and higher can all become "clients" on a server network, and most people stick to these OSes.

    clients are the computers that send their information to the server computer, acting as a sort of main part, or tree, branshing out to give and gain from all the leaves or other computers in your network.

    Now tell me if that analogy doesn't creep you out any. no? Just me then huh.
