    VPN super Slow

    Hi,
I have a Windows Vista Home Premium machine acting as a VPN server. I have a laptop at my friends house also running Windows Vista Home Premium. On the Vista client, under the networking tab, I unchecked Use default gateway on remote network for both ipv6 and ipv4. The VPN works super fine and super fast. But, when I have the same settings on my Windows 7 Pro laptop, it runs fast at first but then runs like it is dial up. Sometimes, it runs so slow that it doesn't even connect to the shared files and folders. Please help!

Hey I figured it out. For some people it works others not. All you have to do is go to turn windows features on or off . Then, turn off remote differiential compression.
