Windows 7: w.7 cannot access xp on home network

Seven ultimate 32bit

Change the IP's to : WIN7 IP protocol 4:
: WIN XP :
Apply the setting's on both.
Now, Share both PC's HDD's with Full permissions(All permissions tick-box's ticked as "Allow")(Basically Full Control.)
Now,From the xp > RUN > CMD > PING (Check for the REPLY)
Now, If replied on the ping
- RUN > \\ (Still xp machine)

What do you get? The 7 machine should prompt you for the username & psw.

Doesn't work? Try CMD > \\\C$ (Admin access)
