Internet not working after W7 upgrade.

I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. And it says that it cannot connect to my home network with my Belkin Wireless G adapter. It is the 4.xxx series (both desktops use this kind of adapter). Every other computer in my house connects just fine to the network: Macbook Pro, three Windows 7 laptops, and 1 Windows 7 desktop PC that's connected to a network adapter. Does it have anything to do with the fact that I upgraded my Windows Vista Home PC instead of doing a clean install? The other vista computer I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit worked just fine with the adapter.

If you're connected to a hotspot or domain network, contact the network administrator. Otherwise: 1. Unplug or turn off the device. 2. After all the lights on the device are off, wait at least 10 seconds. 3. Turn the device on or plug it back into the power outlet. To restart a router or modem that has a built-in battery, press and quickly release the Reset button.

What Anti-Virus and firewall are you using? Have you flushed the DNS cache and reset Winsock?

I'd also suggest run an ipconfig /release and /renew

Here is a simpler method of collection ipconfig /all data. Also tests ping capability (DNS resolution):
Click on Start then Run and paste the following into the Run box, exactly as shown, including double quotes:

    cmd /c "ipconfig /all > postme.txt & ping yahoo.com >> postme.txt & notepad postme.txt & del postme.txt"

    and press ENTER.

A file will open in Notepad. Please copy and paste the contents here. Close the Notepad window and the file will be deleted and the Command Prompt window will also close.

Thanks, guys! However, I decided to just do a clean install like on my other desktop, and everything worked again like a charm! I didn't want to have to go through all that ordeal when I could simply just do a a custom install, and all my old files are still there. Thanks anyway, guys.
