No internet acces and unidentified network

    Trying another ethernet cable won't hurt.

    If you have more than one ethernet port on your router you might want to try that.

    If the network adapter, router and ethernet cable are OK you might need to consider the possibilty that your motherboard is the problem.

    Well everyone, posted this just so you know, it wasn't from my PC or Windows 7, the problem was from the ISP. I called them yesterday again, and they fixed it. Thank you for trying to help through.

    Error 691 Can't connect to internet on my new Netbook win 7 starter


    Hello I have a problem with my network.

    when I connect then I get the following error.

    "....or selected authentication protocol is not permitted on the remote access server."

    I also have a PC with windows xp installed and its works fine.
    I just plugged out my Internet wire from pc and connected to my netbook which have windows 7 starter.
    I created connection as I had on my xp pc.
    all user name and password is right.
    but I can't connect. Please any1 faced this problem and solved let me know How??
