How to disable certain Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) components in Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008
Some devices just don't like ipv6, though if that does fix this I would be surprised.
It also wouldn't hurt to try different usb ports.
Thanks disabling it now to see if it works also I have used all my USB ports and they all do it.

New VAIO, Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN wireless card. It will connect to the router but it says local only. It does the same thing for wired connections. Any suggestions? I tried installing the driver manually but it did nothing.
