    Windows 7 cannot connect to Wireless network

    Dear Forum members,

    I relocated to a new apartment and have been having problems connecting to the wireless router there. The laptop sees the network but it cannot connect to it

    In my former house, I was connecting to the wireless network without problems. I have tried so many things which include;

    Uninstalling the wireless card driver and restarting the system
    Installing windows update to update all the drivers
    disabling and re-enabling the wireless network
    etc
    but all could not resolve the issue,

    Please any1 who has had this experience should help me in resolving it. I use Hp Pavillion dv5 laptop.

    Thank you.. Iyke

    Hi Iyke,

    Let's refresh your wireless connections by removing old wireless profiles. This guide shd also work in Windows 7.

    If it's still an issue please provide an ipconfig /all of your computer.
    Click on Start => in run or search box type cmd press enter (run as Admin). From the black screen, type the word ipconfig /all and press enter. Right click on the black screen or Command prompt then choose Select All and Paste the results here.

    Please post an update.
