    Network!: Atheros AR8132 Lan 10/100

So i had a fresh install of windows 7 done, and now i cant connect to my wireless network. I checked in device manager and my network controller is missing a driver, i tried windows driver search, but failed in finding any drivers. I checked dell and downloaded the atheros driver but still the wireless feature is not working, i made sure the wlan was started and all the stuff. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

So my problem is identical to yours and im looking for A SOLUTION TOO!
I recently reformated my computer, however i can not access the wireless function of my computer. In fact, there is no wireless connectivity whatsoever so im a little pissed seeing as how its a gaming laptop. I can access the internet using an ethernet cord. I went to the DELL support site, and downloaded the Atheros driver but nothing worked. The program file installed but there is still no driver installed for my NETWORK CONTROLLER. Thoughts!? I can provide more spec if needed.

    ATHEROS Network drivers for Windows

look for L1C and choose your appropriate OS version and download.
Always remember to run as Administrator if you're running Windows Vista or 7 to prevent some conflicts due to user rights.

You can download the Drivers here:
    Drivers & Downloads

Also, the only OS you can download them for is Windows 7 64-Bit by the looks of it. Did you use the recovery partition to install the Windows 7 32-Bit or did you install it from a CD that you had?

    Same Problem

I recently bought an m15x Alienware Laptop.
Problem is that the wireless does not work. I have installed all of the drivers and updates for the OS and also reformatted it twice, but it shows that the network controller driver can not be found. No updates can be found for the network controller, I have tried about every possible idea I could think of to solve the issue but to no avail. Having a laptop with no wireless pretty much defeats its purpose of portability and design so I'll probably return it if I do not have a solution.

    The wireless is a : Intel WiFi Link 5300 a/g/Draft-n 3x3 MIMO, 10/100 ethernet
