If you look at the picture below, this page should be populated, but it's not. I have install and uninstall Widows Media serveral times. All other things are normal. In addition to this, I have ping everyone from my computer and no problem. It's that no one can ping me.

There are 2 things that I don't think were mentioned...
They do make what you are doing much easier...

1.) Make sure all systems are in the same workgroup

2.) Make sure All Accounts exist on all PC's and have the same userid's and Passwords. (this alone makes sharing everything much easier.)

To all who has help me solve this probem, the problem is not solved. Last night I re-installed windows and just norton. Before I loaded norton I wanted to see if everyone could see me and if I could see everyone. The answer: YES. Then I installed norton and I could see everyone, but no one could see me. So I contacted Norton Live Support (which from the few times I have contacted them, they are good at their jobs), jump on my computer and first when to norton settings and clicked on network, then my network. After that, they clicked on Trust Control and then configured. I was told that when the new norton installs, their Trust Control goes to zero or null, and each person has to configure their own. In their they did their thing and then when to firewall. In the firewall settings, they created a new Traffic Rule which is like in the picture below. After all this, each and every time I load in a program, try out the program then go to network to see if all the settins are their and then create a restore point as well. Thank you all to whom help me with this problem.

My friend had this same problem with XP and Vista.
All I did was change the name of the workgroup in XP to match the one in Vista and it worked.
Also turned on file/printer sharing. Norton was not installed on my friends PC.

Just putting that up in case somebody else has this problem.

You know I tried that, and it didn't work for me. But I'm happy now that it works. Again, thanks for all the help.

We're glad to hear that all sorted timlab1955. Was it the Norton, the culprit? Just need to verify...

Just a heads up, if your planning on purchasing or getting System Mechanic Professional or the standard one, don't! It will really get your system screwed up. And on top of that, they want you to pay $199.99 for a person to undo any problems their program does to your system. Gosh what a racket!

Any application that states they will speed up your system is generally a scam.
They are ALL Garbageware. Avoid them, for they are the plauge unto which your PC shall become dead.
