Thanks, but connectify is taking a while to download, what do you do if it's taking a while? should I wait? I can't get off of the window though so...

It's only a 2.33 mb download, is your connection really slow?

No not really, I restarted my computer and I tried connecting to my usual internet but it went to this blue scree. I don't think the connectify downloaded correctly so I uninstalled it and the internet started working again. I'll try again and I'll tell you whether it happened again.

EDIT: I tried installing it again and it was stuck here:

Are you clicking run when the download starts?

Save it first, then run it once it's completely downloaded.

I don't like the sound of that blue screen either, there's something going on there.

Do you get those often? you don't sound surprised or worried.

    I don't think I'm worried because I fixed it.
I'm not sure whether I should try doing it again. Can you try downloading it see whether it works for you please?

I just installed it with no problems, a couple windows security pop-ups is all.

I don't have a WiFi device so I can't actually test that part for you.

Did you save the download then run the installer as admin?

I have installed connectify on several laptops and netbooks and it works great. I use it with my tethered Droid X phone to share my phone's connection among multiple devices.

How long did you wait to make sure it was stuck vs just taking a long time? I don't recall doing anything special to get Connectify to install but perhaps you need to run the installer as Admin or something like that.

You might try downloading connectify from the website again to see if the first DL is corrupted in some way.
