The Default Gateway is not available!!!

Ye hello i have been getting this error, sometimes a few times a day or then sometimes a week.. But still it has the same effect as being on Facebook it is disturbing as hell!!!

Okay the thing that happens is that i get a little yellow triangle with the exclamation mark on it and i cant get online and the only solution so far is that i have to troubleshoot my internet and then i am online again!!

But i need a better solution because yes no one wants every time to right click the network icon in the right corner and press Troubleshoot Problems!

    Thanks Tobias!

Can you give us a little more info?

What type of modem/router do you have? (I have seen reports that this is a known problem for some nvidia network controllers).

Have you tried a power reset or factory reset on the modem/router?

Is your network configuration set for static or DHCP configuration?

Do you have more than one PC/Laptop? If so, does this problem occur on only one device, or on all?

Is your modem/router on a current firmware?

This post might be helpful..."the default gateway is not available"

Have you tried to google this error? There are lots of results for this problem. Perhaps something on one of those posts might assist.
