got one more question sorry dude. this tp link seems to come with the 2 pin mains adapter, we have 3 in england what do I use to power the router up?
Just a standard one then? I thought I'd need to buy something a bit more advanced, result. I have one of those already cheer mate

It's not a high powered device and maybe a surge strip or UPS would be something to consider for line voltage swings but that's your call.
I'll leave it, the power adapter lead already has one of those converter box things in between the mains and router power input anyway, it probably wont do the same thing as having an advanced adapter but who cares I'll use the standard one when it arrives and post up a personal review once tested.
From what I gather the router has a 2 year warranty plus 1 with the place you buy it from. Not sure whether that adds up to 3 years, I'll read up on it later.
Belkins products may not be the best but their popular customer service is something else. They refunded me and sent me a gift for my troubles
