    Homegroup within condo wireless system

My summer condo complex provides wireless internet acces to everyone. I have a number of Win7 Ultimate confusers and would like to use my homegroup but am afraid to do this while being connected to the condo wireless system. (At my winter home this is not a problem and I use the Homegroup)

I'm thinking, since all my Win 7 confusers in the homegroup have that code/password/whatever in the Homegroup, they can only talk to each other(?) and no one else in my condo complex would be able to access my confusers. Does this sound correct? I presently have them set to "Public Network" out of fear.

Because my section of the condo complex has a weak wireless signal and I can only get that signal in one room they gave me a Netgear Wireless Print Server to use to get the wireless signal and then route it through my home(condo) electrical wiring for access in my other rooms. So, I don't have a normal wireless router.

My knowledge is limited in networking so kind assistance would be appreciated!

As long as nobody else knows your password for the homegroup they won't be able to access your homegroup resources.

Just make the password not easy to guess and you should be fine.

    Thanks linkmaster00.

The password I'm talking about is the Win7 generated Homegroup password so it should be fine.
