win 7 not seeing wifi on laptop

    win 7 not seeing wifi on laptop


    the last few day when i turn my laptop off win 7 stops seeing my broadcom wifi on my HP laptop
    cant figger out whats making it do that.
    i scan for new hardware etc and it doesnt pic it up.
    after a few reboot it sometime finds it and installs the drivers and were fine again till i reboot.
    i dont think it a faulty wifi card
    any ideas as to the problem or a fix?

    It might have something to do with either something in the power profile, or a setting in the wifi config, called wake on....lan

Just boosted my ISP BBand speed from 10MB to 30MB... the wired pc and the wifi laptop have shown great improvement (approx 40MB), however the wifi desktop is still slow. I have replaced the adapter to a new up-to-date one, (USB) and alothough it is showing small improvement it is still restricting...

I'm in a hotel room that offers "wired" internet service. I'm trying Connectify on my Win7 machine. I'm trying to use it with my itouch. My touch sees the wifi but has an ip address of 169......... My computer sees the touch on Connectivity. Should this work?
