Hi hanomajstor, how many applications are you running when you downloading? The reason I ask is that your running with 1.5gb of memory and sometimes when memory runs low internet speed can drop due to lack of resources. This also could be a problem with your modem as well. How long have you had the modem and have you had this trouble before?

when i download something i turn of every application or softwer that uses internet
and 1.5gb is not that small amount of memory.
I have listed my modems, the paradigm modem is old about 3 years.
On the web page of my ISP sais that i should have 2048 kb/s download rate.
I think i have problems with my paradigm modem because I cant get in the settings(192.168.1.1)in any web browser but for the tp-link modem i can get in the settings

I think your right as far as the paradigm modem is concerned if you can't open it up in a web browser that usually suggest it's bad. I would have your isp send you a new one. 3 years is an awfully old modem/router and they would have a different firmware and everything installed on the newer versions which would also be more compatible with your connection and all.
