    File sharing with Windows 7

I have a Windows 2000 file server, home use, and all of my XP machines read it with out any problems. So did Windows 7..........for one night!! I set the HomeGroup connection settings to "Use user accounts and passwords to connect to other computers." Everything worked fine last night, I shut the computer off and went to bed. This morning its telling me there is an error with my user name and password. No settings were changed that I know of. Does anyone have a clue what happened?

Yes, and I even reinstalled Windows 7 on the client thinking it could have been a bad update from this morning.

Ya, clean install. Reformat and everything. No changes to the network settings. Workgroups are the same on both machines.

I just tried to read the Windows 7 machine from the Win 2000 and saw everthing just fine. Could it be a firewall setting?

Not much of a user of the event log. Can you tell me where to find it?
