File and Printer Sharing won't turn On after saving changes
Hello, I've been trying to enable File and printer Sharing but after pressing Save Changes it turn off again, what's wrong Please Help!!

In the Network and Sharing Center, Change Advanced Sharing Settings, tell us what your selections are set to....
This PC has 2 Network adapters one for internet the other for a separated network with a windows 2000 server, previously was able to connect to other pc and this server but for reasons I don't understand File and Printer Sharing wont respond to the Turn On switch as I explain bellow.
Network Discovery is Turn On
File and Printer Sharing (This one is Turn Off no matter how many times I turn it On keeps turning off right after a press Save Changes)
Public Folder Sharing is Turn Off
File Sharing for Devices that Use 46 and 56 bit Encryption this one is Enable
Password Protected Sharing is Turn Off

I had this same problem. I had to go into the library folder (the one on the taskbar) and set each folder up to be shared manually. Then my sharing settings started to save properly. I rightclicked each icon and set each to share with homegroup. Hope this works for you.
