    Have you change anything in internet options, if not their are many virus that can do this. If it was my computer I would scans with my anti virus, Malwarebytes Anti Malware, Super Anti Spyware. You can also try this. Start and in the search type hh http://www.microsoft.com/
    This should get you to Microsoft sit and you can go anywhere from there. You can from there get you scan programs. Something has made a change to your computer is my thinking.

    Sorry 2xg but I have followed all the instructions you gave me, but the problem was not solved. I run Windows 7 Ultimate and I have downloaded a new language pack from Windows Updates. After a quick restart of my computer, the problems have began. I have recently buy Avast! Internet Security, I can't believe that the problems are related to a virus... Windows Updates is supposed to be safe.

    Did you run Avast and pick some virus?

    Do some tests please:

    Restart your computer, Tap F8 and select Safe Mode with Networking, are you able to browse here?

    Also, logon as a difference User, create one if needed. Control Panel=> User Accounts. See if you can connect as a different User.

    I have press 100 times on the F8 button but nothing appears. I have a Gateway computer. This button can change with a different computer? I tried on two different session's but the problem remains. I can download updates from Windows Updates but i can't access to internet on Chrome or on Explorer.

    Well I think it can be a virus or some such thing. Have you run and scans with Avast. Are you wired or wireless to the internet. If wireless I would try wired.

    Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error.
