    Another internet sharing problem.

    Hi people.

I am having some troubles with sharing an internet between two laptops. I am not using any ethernet router at the moment and I am trying to connect to internet by a 3G modem that is connected via USB.

I've tried giving them specific IP adresses but had no chance on that too. At network connection's screen I saw two network connection. For internet connection it says "Home Network" and ethernet connections seems as "Unidentified network". Whenever I assing IP's manually, I can manage to get Home network but no internet connection, even I shared it on the network settings or even internet settings. Any ideas?

My laptops are; Sony Vaio FE31M and Dell Inspiron 1720. I didn't install any other specific drivers right after the fresh Windows 7 drivers. I have Intel network chip on Sony, and Broadcom 440 on Inspiron

One of the problems I think is that im not sure of your set up. your ISP is? you want to share a 3G (like cell phone?) via usb from the sony to the inspiron?
