Windows 7 Destination Folder access denied
So here's the scenario.
i have a media server set up where i store all my media files so they are shared with my household.
The problem is that when i try and do anything in the shared folder (mapped as a network drive) i get a "destination folder access denied: you need permission to perform this action).
All OS's is Windows 7 Pro.
Heres the setup.
single shared(called Shared) folder with subfolders where the administrator group is owner and the user credentials i use to log on the mapped network drive with are member of the administrator group. every member of the household have a different username.
i have tried disabling UAC, adding the user directly to the folder with full permissions and still no dice.
Am i missing something? i am able to play the media files but if i want to edit a file or make a new folder i get the access denied error.
help?
Kind Regards
